Arleen

Nurse Practitioner

Before joining Anonymous Health in 2025, Arleen spent the majority of her career in trauma and critical care, practicing as both a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in Phoenix, Arizona. She served as the lead Nurse Practitioner at a Level 1 trauma center, where she treated patients facing acute physical trauma - ranging from gunshot wounds to motor vehicle accidents.

In 2016, her focus shifted to addiction medicine and behavioral health. Over the next nine years, she worked to deliver care across inpatient detox, outpatient MAT, residential treatment, and primary care settings. Her clinical work was grounded in understanding the deep intersection between trauma and addiction.

Motivated by a commitment to trauma-informed mental health care, Arleen opened a clinic in San Diego in 2024 focused on treating PTSD, depression, and anxiety, with an emphasis on serving first responders, healthcare workers, military personnel, and veterans. She also co-founded a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with terminal diagnoses navigating anxiety, existential distress, and depression.

At Anonymous Health, Arleen brings an inner-directed, compassionate approach to care. She believes healing goes beyond symptom management - it requires curiosity, connection, and a deep understanding of each person’s lived experience. Her philosophy is rooted in the idea that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but connection. Through her work, she aims to help individuals break free from cycles of addiction by addressing the underlying trauma and fostering lasting, meaningful healing.

Our mission is to deliver the world’s most effective outpatient addiction recovery
