Jack

CADC II, BS, MA

Born and raised in Alaska, Jack is a dedicated professional and passionate advocate for individuals navigating addiction. He holds licensure as a Chemical Dependency Counselor II in Alaska and as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III in Ohio. In long-term recovery himself, Jack brings a deep personal understanding of addiction, enabling empathetic connections that empower others to take ownership of their recovery.

After years in recovery, Jack began working in withdrawal management and inpatient treatment facilities, where he was inspired to pursue formal training in professional counseling. He earned a BS in Addiction Counseling and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program. Jack has worked across diverse addiction treatment settings—including withdrawal management, inpatient, outpatient, and Recovery Court programs in three Ohio counties—serving as both counselor and treatment team member.

Jack’s clinical approach is strengths-based, integrating principles from Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. By blending professional expertise with lived experience, he fosters resilience, hope, and meaningful growth in those he serves.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and spending quality time with his family.
