Lauresha

LCSW

Lauresha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California, possessing fourteen years of extensive experience in child welfare, behavioral health, and the healthcare sector. She was recently recognized by Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare in 2025 as A Top Social Worker in Rancho Cucamonga.  Lauresha received her Bachelors of Science in Pre-med Biology from Lewis University and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at University of Southern California, where her concentration was Children and Families.

Demonstrating versatility within residential treatment care, case management, private practice, and both psychiatric inpatient and behavioral health outpatient care, Lauresha has successfully provided services to children, adolescents, adults, and mature adult populations. With a background in healthcare and nearing graduation with a Master of Public Health in Spring 2025, she tailors the use of evidence based-practices (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing) and treatment planning for dual diagnoses, co-occuring disorders, and emphasis on social determinants of health among vulnerable and diverse populations, potentially leading to effective treatment planning where clients can achieve their goals.

Lauresha currently serves as a Behavioral Health Care Manager at Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), one of California’s leading Medicaid health plans. She works within the Utilization Management Department, specifically Integrated Transitional Care, serving Medi-Cal recipients. Lauresha's expertise in addressing the complex needs of this population—such as chronic homelessness, substance use, poverty, and mental illness—and her background in case management, rapport building, trust development, and community social networks can help her secure resources for the benefit of her clients.

In her work with Anonymous Health, Lauresha is committed to employing an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. Her goal is to assist clients in making progress toward their mental health objectives throughout their emotional healing journey.

Lauresha's communication style is personable, adaptable, and charismatic. She ensures that her clients feel comfortable bringing important matters to their sessions by maintaining a nonjudgmental listening attitude. Nevertheless, she acknowledges that therapy can involve challenging conversations, which provide opportunities for accountability and foster mental and emotional growth.

"Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn't you – all of the expectations, all of the beliefs – and becoming who you are."
