Pamela is a National Certified Counselor, who obtained her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas in 2013 and has since been dedicated to providing quality trauma therapy at various levels of care. With a background providing care in local, state and federal levels, she possesses a unique perspective that enriches her work with clients facing past trauma, first responders, military, and individuals with substance use challenges.
Central to her approach is the belief that the therapeutic process is a collaborative alliance, with clients considered experts in their own lives. Within this framework, clients can access their inner strengths to promote positive change. Pamela employs various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
