Wendy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In her practice, Wendy employs a diverse array of treatment modalities to best support your unique journey. Whether you need a therapist, a life coach, or help with accountability, Wendy tailors her approach based on your specific goals and aspirations. She enjoys working with individual adults and couples, integrating a rich tapestry of eclectic therapies. These include Compassion Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Gottman Method, IMAGE therapy, and one of her current favorites, a modality called Mind Shifting.
Wendy brings over 25 years of experience in mental health and addiction. While employed at Pascua Yaqui Tribe, she created an Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse program. Additionally, she has taught both undergraduate and master's level courses at the University of Phoenix and Pima College. Wendy holds an undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University, and a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science/Systems Counseling from Bastyr University.
